On 14th November 2019, on the fourth night of the talks “Conversazioni tra le nuvole”, Emilia Rio, HR Director of A2A Group, came to visit us.
Emilia told us, with her typical intelligence and joyfulness, how to become a modern manager. Through the story of her experience, conducted both in private and in public primary entities, Emilia has encouraged the audience to pursue their goals with all their strength, without being influenced or limited by any kind of obstacles (sexual, political, etc.).
Emilia’s story clearly shows that the manager class of the future must be based on professional competence and tenacity.

ECircular economy, why is it so important?

On the third night of “Conversazioni tra le nuvole” we welcomed Gloria Zavatta, C.O. of AMAT S.r.l. (the Mobility, Environment and Land Agency of the Municipality of Milan).
Gloria told us about the circular economy and why it is becoming more and more relevant since it involves different fields such as the areas of the industrial policy, the regulation and procurement.
Practical actions at any level – legislative, political, academic, collective and individual – are required for enhancing the circular economy.
Gloria impressed the audience with concrete examples which she experienced throughout her career, especially during her tenure as the Sustainability Manager for Expo 2015.
There is a long way to go but passionate people, opportunities and successful examples are not lacking … and anyway Italy is not that bad!

The person and the organization: is there a magic equilibrium?

On 26th June 2019, on the second night of the talks “Conversazioni tra le nuvole” Luca Solari, Full Professor of Business organization at the University of Milan, came to visit us. We spoke about the meaning of social organizations and the relations between the people and the team. We wanted to understand where the balance between the team and the individual lies.
Luca, who turned out to be a conversation ‘Maestro’, showed us that culture nourish knowledge and that the cooperation can enrich both the people and the organizations.
The main focus of the talk was on the innovations in the organizational procedures wich ease the interactions and make them efficient. The audience got really interested in the topic and they could not to resist to ask questions.

Creative Process: how to do it?

On 28th May 2019 the talks entitled “Conversazioni tra le Nuvole” have been opened by Antonio Citterio, architect and designer, founder of the well-known Citterio-Viel International Firm.
He was asked to speak about Creativity. Antonio Citterio recalling his very special 40 years career, ended up specifying that “Creativity is spontaneous, it is present in all of us even though at times we cannot realize it”.
Citterio delighted us precising that “there is no Creativity without hard work”; finally, Creativity evolved: “Creativity is unconsciousness and surprizing, at the first times, but then it turns into experience and you can manage it more easily”.
We are sure that even the lawyers need creativity. We got it!
